Our Phuket try diving day trips include three dives each lasting up to 50 minutes. PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Super Divers PADI Discover Scuba Diving Phuket day trips start with hotel transfers at 7:15am. The dive boat departs at around 8:30am & while cruising south to Racha Noi PADI Discover Scuba Diving guests can eat a tasty breakfast & relax before their PADI instructor will give teach them all they need to know to scuba dive safely while under their supervision. They will also explain how the dive equipment works, demonstrate useful hand signals, & brief them about the dive site & the marine life they may encounter, and answer any questions. Once at the first dive site the instructor will find a shallow area and teach guests a few basic but useful scuba diving skills.
There will be two dives at Racha Noi with the third & final dive at Racha Yai. A freshly cooked lunch is served at around 12:30pm & snack & soft drinks are available throughout the day. Super Divers Phuket try diving program for guests taking their first scuba diving experience in Phuket has a maximum depth limit of 12 meters, deep enough to see all the marine life, & shallow enough to maximise safety. Super Divers PADI Discover Scuba Diving Phuket day trip returns to the pier at around 5:30pm & guests transfer back to their Phuket hotels.

Return hotel transfers from Kamala, Patong, Karon, Kata & Rawai. (Private return transfers from other areas can be arranged but may incur a small additional surcharge). Dive equipment, breakfast, lunch, snacks & refreshments.
Underwater photos provided by the dive staff on the boat. Please note this is a service provided by the dive staff as a way to earn a little extra cash. It is not a service provided directly by Super Divers. Beer is usually available at around 60 Thai Baht per can but must only be consumed after the final dive has been completed.
- The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Phuket day trip is only available at Racha Noi & Yai. A new law came into effect in July 2017 prohibiting inexperienced divers from diving at Phi Phi.
- Underwater Visibility: 12m to +40m.
- Depth: 2m to 12m.
- Water Temperature: 27c to 29c.
- Best Time to Dive: All year. Conditions are generally good all year. Excellent conditions can be found during the monsoon season from May to October.
- Possible Marine Life to See: Moray eels, lionfish, sting rays, turtles, trigger fish, sea snakes, barracuda, batfish, stone fish & lots more. At Racha Noi giant manta rays can often be seen, & whale sharks can make surprise appearances almost anywhere throughout the year.
Minimum age is 10 years old. Be in general good health. Complete & sign the PADI Advanced Course medical statement. No swimming ability required.
Flying After Diving
Current flying after diving recommendations state that after two or more dives, divers should leave 18 hours or longer, before flying. That would translate to no flying until after 10:00am the following day after the Racha Noi & Yai PADI discover scuba diving day trip.
Diving at Phi Phi
A new law came into effect in July 2017 prohibiting inexperienced divers from diving at Phi Phi. Only certified divers & PADI open water students on the third & final day of their PADI open water course are permitted to dive at Phi Phi . The PADI discover scuba diving cannot be conducted at Phi Phi.
