PADI Emergency First Response Course
Learn how to handle medical emergencies above and below the water with confidence & earn a current & recognized first aid certificate, a prerequisite before enrolling in the PADI rescue diver course.
Scuba Diving First Aid Course
The PADI emergency first response course covers all the basics of first aid, including treating injuries which could be sustained in non-diving related accidents, as well as treating dive related accidents, how to provide C.P.R. and more. The course will teach participants to react to a variety of scuba diving & non-diving related emergency situations, which could one day help them save lives. The PADI EFR course is a must not just for scuba divers, it’s also essential for everyday life.
A PADI rescue diver student is required to possess a current & recognised certificate in first aid, like the PADI emergency first response course, before starting the rescue course. The PADI E.F.R. course in Phuket with Super Divers takes just a morning to complete, & includes some hands on demonstrations from an emergency first response instructor & completing valuable practical tasks which could relate to real life emergency situations. Upon completion of the course, the student is a fully certified emergency first responder, with the skills to react to many medical emergencies.
Participants will learn about how to respond to many dive related emergencies, including stings or bites from marine life, as well as pressure related injuries. They will also learn how to react to possible accidents & emergencies which could happen around the home, for example how to react if a family member suddenly becomes unresponsive in the home. Knowing how to react in emergency situations can sometimes make the difference between life & death.
