King Cruiser Wreck Diving Phuket
Experienced divers may choose to add the Phuket King Cruiser Wreck trip to their scuba diving Phuket day trips itinerary. The King Cruiser wreck near Phuket sunk in 1997 after carelessly into the nearby Phuket scuba diving site Anemone Reef, one of the other dive sites often on this Phuket diving day trip itinerary. The King Cruiser lays at 32 meters, & divers descend to around 26 meters, before circling & exploring the wreck, gradually ascending. No decompression limits need to be carefully observed, & conditions here can range from perfect through to challenging. Although the King Cruiser has now deteriorated & collapsed extensively, it’s still a magnet for hoards of marine life. Expect to see huge shoals of snappers, trevally, tuna, barracuda, lionfish, octopus, and a carpet of poisonous scorpionfish laying motionless on the twisted deck. The King Cruiser wreck trip from Phuket is available subject to schedule & availability. Interested divers should contact us for more details regarding which days we run this trip. Transfers from Phuket hotels start at 7:15am & the trip includes three dives.
