King Cruiser Wreck
Phuket Wreck diving enthusiasts can join a Phuket scuba diving day trip to the King Cruiser which sank in 1997 after a navigational error by the captain gashed one of her twin hulls on Anemone Reef.
King Cruiser Wreck Phuket
Wreck diving in Phuket became popular when the King Cruiser, a ninety meter catamaran car ferry, went down in calm seas & good weather, between Phuket & Phi Phi in 1997. The King Cruiser sank after clipping the top of Anemone Reef, which is also a dive site on the King Cruiser wreck day trip itinerary. Thankfully there were no fatalities & all the passengers were quickly rescued by passing boats. Within days of this new Phuket wreck dive being born it was attracting bucket loads of diverse & spectacular marine life.
