MV Manta Queen 1 scuba diving Similan Islands liveaboard is an ideal choice for scuba divers on a budget looking for a good quality low cost Thailand dive liveaboard from which to experience the top class scuba diving the Similans has to offer. On her affordable four night scuba diving Similans liveaboard safaris, guests will enjoy diving Similan Islands dive sites like Elephant head & more, all surrounded with stunning above water scenery, Koh Bon which is one of the best Manta Ray dive sites Thailand has to offer, Koh Tachai, & the world famous Richelieu Rock.
Manta Queen 1 runs four night Thailand liveaboard cruises from mid October until mid May. She takes twenty two guests on her economy Similan liveaboard tours, with a choice of three different cabin types available. Located on the main deck there are four double bed cabins, five twin share cabins and one quad bed share bunk bed cabin. All cabins are air-conditioned and have windows. Most cabins on Manta Queen 1 now have private ensuite bathrooms. Comforts onboard this low price Similan liveaboard dive boat include a pleasant outdoor covered dining area, a cozy indoor air-conditioned saloon with TV & DVD player, shaded dive deck and a nice sun deck with comfy mattresses where guests can chill out between dives.

All scuba diving Similan Islands trips on this Thailand dive liveaboard depart in the evening. Please note that transfers to & from the diving Similans liveaboard MV Manta Queen 1 are not included in the trip price. However upon request, transfers can be arranged very cheaply for a nominal fee of 300 THB each way on the day of departure & arrival only. This service includes fixed time pick-ups from all Phuket hotels & Phuket Airport. Guests will then be transferred up to the scuba diving Similans liveaboard Manta Queen 1, which is moored at Tap Lamu Pier, Khao Lak. Once onboard dinner will be served, before cruising overnight to the Similan Islands. Guests will wake up to the picturesque surroundings of the Similan National Marine Park, and following a light breakfast will begin their diving Similan Islands liveaboard holiday.

You Pay Only 50% VAT, We'll Pay The Rest!
All Manta Queen liveaboard bookings regardless of where you book them are subject to 7% VAT. For example, a Manta Queen liveaboard with a trip price costing 21,500 Thai Baht would incur an additional charge of 1,505 Thai Baht in VAT. Normally the customer would have to pay all of this, but we've decided to chip in and pay half the VAT for our guests.

Phuket transfers are available on departure & arrival days for 300 THB per person each way at scheduled fixed times, depending on location. Guests will then be transferred up to Khao Lak just north of Phuket. Once onboard boat formalities such as briefings, cabin allocation & equipment set-up will be undertaken, followed by dinner being served. MV Manta Queen 1 will then cruise overnight to the Similans.
Day 1 – Four dives in the Similan Islands including a night dive.
Day 2 – Four dives at the Similans, Koh Bon West Ridge for a chance to dive with manta rays, and Tachai Pinnacle.
Day 3 – One dive at Tachai Pinnacle followed by world class Thailand liveaboard diving with three great dives at Richelieu Rock.
Day 4 – Three dives at Koh Bon Pinnacle & West Ridge with a final dive at the Boonsung Wreck, before sailing back to Khao Lak in the late afternoon. Transfers are available back to Phuket hotels for 300 THB per person, arriving between in Phuket at 6:00 pm to 7.00 pm.
Accommodation onboard, all meals, fresh fruits & snacks, drinking water, tea, coffee, fifteen dives 12L tanks, torch for night dives, towel, tanks & weights, dive guide (5:1 ratio).
Flights, hotels, transfers from Phuket or Khao Lak are 300 THB each way. Similan Marine Park fees of 1,800 THB per person. Dive computers are 250 THB per day if required. Larger 15 litre tanks cost 150 THB per dive if required. A full set of dive equipment is available from us for 1,600 THB. Long wetsuits are usually an additional 200 THB per day, but if requested at time of booking, we’ll include them with no additional charge, for guests renting a full set of equipment from us. Please note that this offer does not include dive computer rental or optional extras like 15L tanks, nitrox, etc. Dive computers are available to rent on the at 250 THB per day, & 15L tanks if required cost an additional 150 per fill. Nitrox is available 150 THB per tank, or all fifteen dives on nitrox for 2,250 THB. Soft drinks & alcoholic drinks are also extra.
Flying After Diving Guidelines
Current Divers Alert Network (D.A.N.) guidelines state: After single no-decompression dives, a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 12 hours is suggested. After multiple no-decompression dives per day, or multiple days of diving (Liveaboard diving included), a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours is suggested.
