Manta Queen 7 Similans liveaboard
Manta Queen 7 was fully refurbished in 2018 and her Similans liveaboard guests can experience a total of nineteen great dives in & around the Similan & Surin Islands, including dives at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock. Manta Queen 7 is unique, in being the only Similans liveaboard to offer trips of five days & nights on all of her scheduled departure dates. The price is low, & although categorized as a budget similans liveaboard, standards are high, & onboard comforts are more than adequate. Similan Islands marine park scuba diving offers an abundance of interesting & diverse marine life to enthrall & delight even the most seasoned & experienced divers. Invariably, as Similan liveaboards head outside the Similan Islands towards the Surin Islands dive sites of Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, & Richelieu Rock, the atmosphere tenses & the excitement grows as divers anticipate the possibility of encountering something big like a giant manta ray or a whale shark over the next few days. Manta Queen 7 Similans liveaboard operates from November until the middle of May. Guests should note that the Similan Islands are closed to all tourism, including scuba diving, from mid-May to mid-October every year.
This period of closure for the Similans National Marine Park provides a fallow period to encourage & allow the islands to recover & regenerate in peace after a busy tourist high season. Manta Queen 7 accommodates a maximum of twenty two divers in four different types of cabin. Subject to availability, guests can choose from a twin or double bed cabin with ensuite bathroom, a twin or double bed cabin with shared bathrooms, or a four person shared cabin with shared bathrooms.

Choosing a Liveaboard?
Need some options to suit your tastes & budget?
Manta Queen 7 Similan liveaboard offers evening departures every six days. As with nearly all Similans liveaboards, Manta Queen 7 departs from the pier north of Phuket, as it reduces the journey time to the Similans, & also the fuel costs. We can arrange return transfers from Phuket at a cost of 300 THB per person each way. Transfers are available on the departure & arrival days only, at scheduled times. The transfer shuttles will drop guests at the Manta Queen office near the pier, & once check in procedures are complete, guests will head off to the boat to meet the crew & have some dinner, before settling in for the overnight cruise to the Similan Islands. Guests will wake early to the stunning surroundings of the Similans & after a light breakfast, gear up & embark on their superb Similan Islands marine park scuba diving liveaboard.
