Manta Queen 8 Similans liveaboard
Manta Queen 8 Similans liveaboard runs trips which span five days & nights & includes nineteen awesome dives at the best dive sites Thailand has to offer. Manta Queen liveaboards stick to a similar formula which is offering guests scuba diving liveaboards at affordable prices. Don’t expect marbled bathrooms & gold taps on Manta Queen liveaboards, but do expect five star scuba diving offered by the Similan Islands & surrounding scuba diving hotspots including Koh Bon, a manta ray cleaning station, Koh Tachai which attracts both mantas & whale sharks, & Richelieu Rock an amazing dive site overflowing with a diversity of marine life, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
If you’ve been clicking through the Manta Queen boats you’ll have worked out a while ago that they’re all very similar. There are several reasons though, why you should consider booking Manta Queen trips with us. We’re honest. Ask us a question & you’ll get a straight answer. We don’t charge credit card surcharges. We have comfortable fins & long wetsuits available on request at no additional cost. I believe the charge elsewhere for small things like this that make a difference is around 200 THB per item.

Choosing a Liveaboard?
Need some options to suit your tastes & budget?
Manta Queen 8 liveaboard departs in the evenings from the pier close to Khao Lak. We’re happy to organise return transfers from Phuket if you require them. The transfers cost 300 THB per person each way, & are available on departure & arrival days at specific times from areas in Phuket. Guests check in for the trip at the office in Khao Lak, then head to Manta Queen 8 moored around ten minutes away. The crew are friendly & experienced dive professionals, & supplement their income by offering PADI nitrox courses or extras on the boat. It’s beneficial be certified as an advanced diver, but not essential. If you want to take the nitrox course or rent a camera that’s cool, but if you feel the dive staff are badgering you into it, a firm no thank you works well. We highly recommend Manta Queen 8 & all the Manta Queen liveaboards, & guests invariably give us positive feedback about these budget Similans liveaboards.
