Our PADI Divemaster course in Phuket can be completed in as little as two weeks, or at a more leisurely pace over several weeks, or even months. Students can choose a divemaster course timetable that they’re comfortable with to suit their travel itinerary. We recommend if possible to allow one month to complete the course, enough time to gain valuable additional experience on the practical scuba diving side of the course. PADI Divemaster Prices
Includes 30 Dives – 45,500 THB (Two weeks or longer).
Additional dives over the 30 included are priced at 500 THB per dive.
*Please Note: Upon completion of the course students must have 60 logged dives or more to be certified as a PADI Divemasters.
The PADI materials costing around 10,000 THB. Note the PADI materials for the divemaster course are mandatory as they come with a decal sticker which must be attached to divemaster certifications which are sent to PADI head office upon completion of the course. Scuba diving day trips including round trip transfers from areas including Kamala, Patong, Karon, Kata, & parts of Rawai. Scuba diving rental equipment if required, although we advise guests enrolling in the PADI Divemaster course that they should consider buying their own set of equipment. Complimentary WIFI & soft drinks in the dive centre, & cooked breakfast, lunch, snacks and refreshments on the dive boat. No surcharge for credit or debit card payments. A customer service orientated team with patient, adaptable & experienced Instructors.
Accommodation, transfers to & from the dive centre on classroom or pool days. The PADI divemaster certification fee which is payable directly to PADI. Check with us for current PADI fees.
Be certified as a PADI advanced open water diver & PADI rescue diver or equivalent. Be at least 18 years old. Have logged 40 or more scuba dives. Completed EFR primary & secondary care training within the previous two years. Be medically evaluated & cleared for diving by a doctor within the last year.
Meet course performance requirements & complete knowledge development segments including knowledge reviews in the PADI divemaster manual or through divemaster online. Pass the PADI divemaster final exam. Create an emergency assistance plan for a designated dive site. Complete water skills exercises. Complete a diver rescue assessment. Complete the dive skills workshop and assessment. Complete practical application skills. Complete divemaster-conducted programs workshops. Complete practical assessments. Meet the professionalism criteria. At time of certification must have at least 60 logged scuba dives including experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation. Completed EFR primary and secondary care training within 24 months. Read and agreed to the PADI membership and license agreements.
Phi Phi National Park Fees
All scuba divers diving at Koh Phi Phi are required to pay Phi Phi National Marine Park fees of 600 THB per diver, directly to the marine park police, who visit the dive boat on arrival at Phi Phi. The fee is 600 THB for divers & 200 THB for non-divers. All guests diving at Phi Phi, including PADI divemaster trainees, must please take the park fees with them in cash (Thai Baht only) to be collected for the park police to collect. Please take the correct change, as no change is given. Thank you. Please note, the charge for entering Phi Phi National Marine Park is set by the Thai authorities, and not by Super Divers.
Flying After Diving
Current flying after diving recommendations state that after two or more dives, divers should leave 18 hours or longer, before flying. That would translate to no flying until after 10:00am the following day after the Racha Noi & Yai, or King Cruiser Wreck trip,, or 11:00am the following day after a Phi Phi trip.
