Rescue Diver Course Phuket
The morning of the first day of the PADI Rescue Course would be spent in the classroom studying rescue diver theory. After lunch students gear up and enter the pool to learn about & practise the scuba diving rescue skills & techniques which they could one day use prevent a scuba diving accident, or even save another divers life. On the second day students have three dives from the boat. During the day students will hone their rescue diver skills as they encounter & deal with simulated rescue scenarios with their Super Divers PADI instructor.
Students without a current first aid certificate need to complete the PADI Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care course before starting the PADI Rescue Diver Course Phuket. To complete both courses takes three days. During the first day students would complete the PADI EFR Course & the theory for the PADI Rescue Diver Course. The second day should be finished before lunchtime with students spending the morning in the swimming pool, practicing & mastering the PADI Rescue Diver skills. On the third & final day, students will be diving from the dive boat for three dives. They will be practise the rescue skills learnt the previous day in the pool, & gain confidence as they face & deal with simulated rescue scenarios in open water. Although scuba diving accidents in Thailand are rare, with more divers taking Phuket dive courses like the PADI rescue course they will hopefully become even rarer.
