Racha Noi Manta Bay
Manta Bay at on the west coast of Racha Noi. Divers usually begin the dive in the south of the bay & head south towards a gigantic boulder formation adorned with gorgonian sea fans & soft corals. Thousands of glass fish obscuring a swim through between the boulders envelope themselves around divers as they pass through to continue along the sloping coral reef.
Racha Yai Manta Bay
Manta Rays are often spotted all around Racha Noi, but Manta Bay, along with South Tip & Banana Bay is where most sightings are reported. The corals & diversity of marine life on the west coast of Racha Noi, aren’t as spectacular as can be found on the opposite coast but, when the wind dictates the east coast dive sites cannot be visited, dives sites like Manta Bay of the west coast often surprise divers with little jewels like frogfish, as well as the aforementioned manta rays, often seen majestically flying past in the blue water outside the bay.
