Koh Racha Noi & Racha Yai Phuket Dive Trips
Consistantly good underwater visibility makes Racha Noi & Racha Yai one of our most beautiful Phuket dive trips. Guests taking this, or indeed any of our scuba diving day trips from Phuket will enjoy three dives interspersed with breakfast, lunch & snack served throughout the day. To the south of Phuket, Racha Noi & Racha yai offer calm & relaxed conditions for guests planning a Phuket scuba diving day trip. Often, the best visibility at Racha Noi & Racha Yai scuba diving sites can be found during the rainy season months, when it can reach an amazing 50 meters plus! The corals in some of the shallow areas suffered from some bleaching in 2008 but, they are recovering well. Granted, the marine life found on this Phuket dive trip isn’t as diverse as you’ll find at Phi Phi, but there are still many interesting marine creatures to see, including moray eels, lionfish & many other species of aquatic animals associated with scuba diving around Phuket.
The Only Phuket Dive Trip Where We Often See Manta Rays!
Furthermore, whilst other Phuket dive trips like Phi Phi might have a higher volume of marine life, Racha Noi is the only Phuket scuba diving location where divers are often lucky enough to encounter giant manta rays! Also, the Racha Noi & Yai Phuket dive trip is not subject to the additional cost of marine park fees (All guests diving at Phi Phi are charged 600 THB on the boat by the marine park police). Return transfers from most areas in Phuket are included and start at 7:15 am. Guests taking the Racha Noi Phuket scuba diving day trip are well catered for on the dive boat, with a tasty breakfast, freshly cooked lunch, snacks, & refreshments provided throughout the day.
Manta Ray at Racha Noi
The first two dives are usually at Racha Noi, with the third dive at Racha Yai. This trip is also ideal for non-divers / snorkelers who would like to accompany their diving friends or family. The Racha Yai Phuket scuba diving day trip is slightly shorter that the scuba diving Phi Phi day trip we offer, & the dive boat returns to Chalong Pier at around 5:20pm. From their guests are transferred back to their Phuket hotels, in time for any evening activities in Phuket they may have planned.
