Manta Queen 3 operates four night Similan Islands liveaboard dive cruises from October to May. There are eight twin or double bed cabins with private ensuite bathrooms, two twin cabins with shared bathrooms, & two four person cabins with shared bathrooms, ideal for single travellers or the budget conscious. All cabins have air-conditioning. Facilities onboard Manta Queen 3 include a large indoor air-conditioned saloon with large TV & a selection of DVDs, a, roomy outdoor shaded dining area, a covered dive deck, & spacious relaxation areas including the Captain’s balcony and a comfortable sun deck with shady areas where guests can relax in between dives.

Similans liveaboard diving safaris on MV Manta Queen 3 depart in the evening. Transfers from & back to Phuket for this Manta Queen 3 Similans liveaboard are available if required for 300 THB per person each way, if requested at time of booking. Transfers are available on departure & arrival days only & pick-ups from Phuket begin at around 11:30 am from the south of Phuket. After completing paperwork & formalities at Manta Queen’s offices in Khao Lak, guests are transferred to the boat & receive a warm welcome, dinner & drinks, before cruising overnight to the Similan National Marine Park. Guests are woken early for a light breakfast before gearing up to experience the best liveaboard diving Thailand has to offer.

All Manta Queen liveaboard bookings regardless of where you book them are subject to 7% VAT. For example, a Manta Queen liveaboard with a trip price costing 21,500 Thai Baht would incur an additional charge of 1,505 Thai Baht in VAT. Normally the customer would have to pay all of this, but we've decided to chip in and pay half the VAT for our guests.

Transfers for Manta Queen 3 liveaboards are available on departure & arrival days for 300 THB per person each way at scheduled fixed times, depending on location. Guests will be transferred up to Khao Lak just north of Phuket. Once onboard Manta Queen 3 boat formalities such as briefings, cabin allocation & equipment set-up will be undertaken, followed by dinner being served. MV Manta Queen 3 will then cruise overnight to the Similans.
Day 1 – Four dives in the Similan Islands including a night dive.
Day 2 – Four dives at the Similans, Koh Bon West Ridge where it’s often possible to see manta rays, and Tachai Pinnacle.
Day 3 – One dive at Tachai Pinnacle followed by world class Thailand liveaboard diving with three great dives at Richelieu Rock.
Day 4 – Three dives at Koh Bon Pinnacle & West Ridge with a final dive at the Boonsung Wreck, before sailing back to Khao Lak in the late afternoon. Transfers are available back to Phuket hotels for 300 THB per person, arriving between in Phuket at 6:00 pm to 7.00 pm.

Accommodation onboard, all meals, fresh fruits & snacks, drinking water, tea, coffee, fifteen dives, torch for night dives, towel, 12L tanks & weights, dive guide (5:1 ratio).
Flights, hotels, transfers from Phuket or Khao Lak are 300 THB each way. Similan Marine Park fees of 1,800 THB per person. Dive computers are 250 THB per day if required. Larger 15 litre tanks cost 150 THB per dive if required. A full set of dive equipment is available from us for 1,600 THB for the four day trip. Long wetsuits are usually an additional 200 THB per day, but if requested at time of booking, we’ll include them with no additional charge, for guests renting a full set of equipment from us. Please note that this offer does not include dive computer rental or optional extras like 15L tanks, nitrox, etc. Dive computers are available to rent on the at 250 THB per day, & 15L tanks if required cost an additional 150 per fill. Nitrox is 150 THB per tank, or all fifteen dives on nitrox for 2,250 THB. Soft drinks & alcoholic drinks are also extra.
Flying After Diving Guidelines
Current Divers Alert Network (D.A.N.) guidelines state: After single no-decompression dives, a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 12 hours is suggested. After multiple no-decompression dives per day, or multiple days of diving (Liveaboard diving included), a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours is suggested.
